All my other apps are sending my watch notifications except my Ring doorbell app. I have it checked in the list of app notifications but it still won't go to my versa watch. I think the Ring app updated last week and now for some reason I'm not getting notifications on my watch even though I'm still getting them on my phone and they are selected in the Fitbit app list.

I tried posting the link for the ring install file, but it was rejected because of bad words. If you want send me your email and I will send you the link. Any other ideas are welcome.

I'm with you on that. Fitbit is my first (and last) fitness device; I will purchase another device just not Fitbit. This seems to be the basement model. If I want anything really useful I must pay for what little this device can offer or up-purchase to a "better" model. When I do that I'll be looking for anything that does not say Fitbit on the label.

My battery life is about three days on average. All my notifications are on so the battery life seems to be alright IMHO. However I am retired and have plenty of time at home so plugging it in for a recharge is not a problem.

My first thought is what caused the device to stop working? An impact with an immovable brick wall? Hammer to the back of the head...er, case? Don't tell me...you mounted it on a tree and blasted it with a 12 ga. shotgun? Love to see a pic of that. Lol! Considering their lackluster performance and previews and teases to drive up expectations and hopefully sales, my device will suffer a similar fate very soon. Well done good sir.

I did try that but did not have enough info and I think the device was a Versa and not an HR. Don't know if that makes a difference but they used IFTTT and said it worked for them. It was the IFTTT part that I got lost. If you can explain it step-by-step I would Greatly! appreciate it. I'm disabled and have a Ring device that is connected to Alexa. She will announce alerts for motion at front door but does not alert/vibrate my Fitbit. As an elderly retired trucker my hearing is not very good so when my phone is in my back pocket I can't hear it or feel vibration when it alerts. My Fitbit tells my I have a phone call which is great. Why can't Alexa, who is clearly connected to both Fitbit and Ring, act as an intermediary and alert my Fitbit that Ring has detected motion?

Same here. It was the IFTTT part that lost me. If someone would post step-by-step instructions it would be so helpful. As of now I'm thoroughly disappointed in Fitbit. This was my first fitness device but not my last. Only next device will not be Fitbit and will have what I want on it. No teases or up-sales for me. Put it on the device, working as intended, and let it be. None of this "you know, for just a little more money we can tell you all about your health" extortion. Disgusted with Fitbit and Google. Oh yeah Google, I use Firefox Mozilla, a-holes.

I have an HR. Wonder if that would work on this model?

Sounds similar to my issue. I have an HR model Fitbit, Android phone. I recently installed a Ring camera and while it paired with Alexa easily enough, it does not do so with my Fitbit. As I understand it this is a problem with Fitbit though apparently they do not admit as such. However this morning something unexpected occurred. While studying the dashboard for my Ring on my phone I switched it from Home to Disarmed, and my Fitbit alerted me! It said something to the extent "Your Ring camera mode has been changed" and when I switched it back to Home mode my Fitbit again alerted. Why? Who knows. Why not alert me to something important, like burglars or home invaders approaching? The mode hardly matters, Alexa alerts me of motion at the front door every time but not Fitbit. Good luck getting through this. And stay safe.

There are many of us saying the same thing. I'd think Fitbit would open up about this just to let us know they accept it and are working on it. I'm sure they are but tell us so we all don't chunk our Fitbits and go to another device. Not good PR for Fitbit...Google doesn't care about PR.

IFTTT does not appear to be a complete fix either. It only notifies us when someone presses the doorbell, not but when motion is detected.

Agreed!
Also, someone asked if the Fitbit staff posting to this forum sometimes mark a "best answer" in order to make it look like the problem has gone away. My opinion on that is, yes they do, because I've seen it happen before. This situation is not fixed! But when there is a best answer available, people think it's all fixed. It's not!
.This issue is ongoing

Thanks for sharing this work around solution. I just set this up and it's viable for now. I've been pretty annoyed with this entire scenario and how the notifications stopped working.

I had to setup a rule for both motion detection and when someone presses the doorbell.

What the Service Team can't say - FitBit has been in purchase discussions with Google since 2019. Ring is an Amazon product, so we won't support competing hardware (ie Nest) integration. Otherwise, this would have been fixed a while ago.

Yeah, I finally gave up and bought a different watch. Fitbit will never see another dime from me. We burned through 4 Versa's in 2 years and they all had problems.
Now I have an Amazfit Stratos and it is remarkable. It does everything the fitbit did, and more, but better...and it actually works with all app notifications.
Say goodbye to yours and go buy a real watch. You won't be sorry and you won't look back.
