I was in Central time zone when the sync ran but I live in Mountain time so the Versa is an hour ahead. FitBit app is version 2.77 phone is Android 7.1.1 version NCD 26.48-7.14. please help

Hello @lilblu621.

It is very possible that this is happening because the Droid Maxx 2 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app is not fully optimized to work with that phone.

There have also been several recent updates to the app, which could've caused further incompatibility issues. It is possible that it can work as long as the phone fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, but we cannot guarantee it. Some users have mentioned that following the steps in this article has helped them when using phones that aren't on the list. Maybe you could give it a shot.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Your answer was so scripted. I have had this phone for two years and seldom had a problem with my Fitbit. Not since the update you last ran. May send my fitbit back and get refund. 199.00 for a piece of crap

NEVER EVER update your Fitbit app on your phone, or update the firmware on your tracker if everything is working good. Go into your Google play store settings and turn auto-updates off. You'll still get notified of available updates, but you'll be able to choose just the ones you actually need or want.....and any Fitbit app updates you'll definitely NOT want 😉

Hello @lilblu621 and @Crazy-Fritter.

Thanks for sharing your feedback.

@lilblu621 As I mentioned in my post, the app is not optimized to work with that phone so an update on the app could cause further optimization issues that lead to it not syncing or working as intended.

Feel free to let me know if there are any further questions.
