Versa not syncing with Samsung Galaxy S9

My versa stopped syncing and has removed itself from the app on my Samsung S9. I have tried all of the suggestions of unitstall and reinstall the app, turn bluetooth off, restart phone, turn bluetooth on, restart fit bit. Nothing works. The fitbit gives me the 4 digit number to enter and then I get a message not working on the app.  This is my 2nd Versa and I have only had for 1-2 months. The first one just died after 6 months.

Hi @jcg1. It's great to have you on board!

I'm sorry that your Versa isn't syncing correctly, and thanks for the steps that you've tried prior posting. Nice way to go! This shouldn't be happening and because your phone is a supported device, I'd recommend to give a try to the following steps:

  1. Remove the Versa and any other device from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. To avoid any interference, turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
  3. On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  4. Go back to the previous screen, tap on force stop and reboot your phone one more time.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap on the profile's icon > setup a device.
  6. Choose the Versa and follow the onscreen instructions.

Keep me posted!
