Versa screen black

My Versa is only about 4 or 5 months old and it has just stopped working. I noticed the screen went a bit funny today but then it just went black. I had over 50% charge. I have tried to charge it but I am still unable turn it on.

 

Any advise? Why does all the tech support stuff send you to Twitter? I don't have Twitter.

Hi @SunsetRunner. I’m not sure about twitter. Where are you located? As for your Versa, I’d suggest restarting it. To do so,

  1. Press and hold the left and bottom, right buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. 
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. You may want to do this two or three times.

Hopefully this will get your Versa working again. If not, please let us know.

It doesn't work - it is not turning on at all.

Im not a fan this is a waste I can't sync it I can't even get it off the basic languages screen it's frozen and the green light does not come on anymore it's  dead. I hate this watch never again.

What happened to the green light ????

@SunsetRunner, upon checking with our support team, I was told that you have already contacted them. I know they will be glad to help you out and provide you a solution, just keep an eye on your inbox for further assistance.

@ladymaybee, if your Versa display isn't working, I recommend taking a look at this post and follow the instructions provided there. Once you turn it on, you should be able to see your screen and sync the device.

Hi. I actually took it back to place of purchase and had mine replaced.

My versa screen has gone black for the second time since I purchased it. The first time, it was replaced and now it just happened again. The watch glitched last week, it wouldn't log and steps at all and then finally one morning it said it was 1:43 when it was actually 7:30 and then it just went black. I attempted to reboot it several times and it is completely unresponsive.

My versa also has this problem, the screen gives of a sort of light, but you cant see anything. The watch is actually still working and vibrates when there is a alert. 

 

A hard reset hasn't fixed the problem. Any other suggestions. Mine is quite new. I had a ionic before and it also stopped working.

Call the company and if it is in warranty they will send you a new device!
Be sure to keep your bands though, they only send out the tech part.
