Versa won't pair with Android App

When I upgraded my app a couple of weeks ago, my Versa stopped syncing.  Following advice seen on other posts I unpaired my Versa, but now it won't pair again.

The app finds my Versa (so Bluetooth is working fine) and the set-up code appears on my Versa screen, but then it won't actually pair when I put the code into the app - I just get an error and option to try again.  I've followed all of the tips displayed in the app (disconnected all other bluetooth devices, restarted my Versa, made sure it's charging and at least 50% battery), but no luck.

I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but still get the same issue.

Any ideas please?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for everything that you've done prior posting. Let's work on this together. First of all, please provide me with your phone's model and OS version. While you've disconnected other Bluetooth devices, I'd recommend to remove the Versa from the Bluetooth settings, reboot your phone and try setting up the Versa one more time while being plugged in. Also, if possible, please try with another mobile device to see how it goes.

This morning my Versa seemed to restart itself - the fitbit logo came on the screen for about a minute, then it went appeared to turn itself off and back on again. I tried pairing it again after that and it worked! Not sure exactly what happened but its fixed now!
