Walking Mileage Distance Issue

I have used the FitBit App and Google Fit App to track my walks.  Both apps have some unique features and until they can get combined I use both.  I notice that the mileage that is tracked on both Apps are different.  Both use the same device - a Pixel 9 Pro XL.

Does anyone know which is accurate, and if there are any settings that I may need to adjust?

Any help appreciated - V

@Vksolanki   I suspect the two apps have different sampling frequencies, so the calculated point to point differences will add up over time.  You might be able to see differences if you increase each map to maximum magnification.  There is nothing you can do to make them equal.

If you can map a specific distance, like a trail with mileage markers, then you can see which app gives you a better distance estimate.  And I do mean estimate, because GPS mapping does not have pinpoint accuracy.
