Weekly summary not showing up correctly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

It seems that the weekly summary of miles has changed on my Samsung S10. Previously it would add up daily miles and indicate exactly what the weekly totals are. Since last week it has begun rounding up and down so that the weekly number is not an exact total of the week’s ongoing activity. What can I do to get it back to where it was.

On my IPAD I still get the exact figure but no longer on my Android.

Thank you

Hi @bigluke, welcome on board. It's good that the community is growing!

Thanks for the information provided, and letting me know that this is experienced on your phone. Before anything else, let me share that your Samsung Galaxy S10 isn't yet a fully supported device, and this may affect the information displayed and the syncing process as well. However, I'd like to investigate this situation, so we can work on this together.

To clarify, by weekly summary, do you refer to the weekly reports sent to you via email? If not, can I see a screenshot of the information displayed on both, your phone and iPad? You can attach it in your reply by following the steps from this post. In the meantime, I'd recommend to keep the Fitbit app and your device updated to the latest version. Also, to regularly sync your device, so your information can be updated.

Keep me posted.

The Samsung S10 and Fitbit info were working fine just until this past few days when all the weekly totals were assimilated into whole numbers only on the Samsung. I am attaching two photos-one of the Samsung and one of the IPAD that were taken just a few minutes ago.
Not sure why the Samsung has changed.
Thank you
Joe

Hi @bigluke. I'm glad to see you again. I'm sorry for my delayed response.

Thanks for sharing more details about this situation, as well for the screenshot. Currently the Fitbit app for Android devices will rounding up your total miles instead of showing decimals. I understand how important is this information for you. Our team always works on the Fitbit app to improve it based on the Community posts, and I'm sure your comments will not go unnoticed.

If you have another question, feel free to let me know.

Thanks for your response. This change, about rounding up, has taken place only within the last few weeks. Previously it would accurately reflect the sum of the data provided so I am not sure what may have happened but I appreciate someone looking into correcting the situation.

Thank you

I am also experiencing this on an android phone, and it just changed a few weeks ago. Previously the weekly total included miles to 2 decimal points. Did this change as part of an app update?

I think this change was the result of the Fitbit App update for Samsung devices as Samsung did not have an update.
