What does Fitbit app badges mean?

Hello,

I use Oreo on Samsung S7. Oreo allows app badges - red circles above app icon to indicate unread messages, notifications etc.

My Fitbit app currently shows 7. However, I have neither message nor notifications.

What does this 7 mean?

I think your referring to the unread notification count. 

Open the Fitbit app tap on the notification icon in the lower right .It will have a read number. 

Next page tap notifications at the top. 

The noricesnrgat are shaded have not been read.

When I goto Notifications/Messages the app shows that I have neither notifications nor messages.

The app badge however still shows "1". I don't know why it has decreased from "10".
