Dear Fitbit community,
Since last Friday I started experiencing exceptionally large errors after logging runs and walks with my Fitbit Charge 2. GPS was connected throughout the runs/walk, the maps logging my locations were pinpoint accurate, the time I was active was also correct. However, the distance that I walked/ran was not. Last Friday, I ran 5.94 km in 37 min. After drawing the exact route in Strava route planner, the route was 6.15 km, an error of 3.25% (calculation: ((6.15-5.94)/6.15)*100%)), which I find respectable. However, Sunday I did a walk of 6.06 km according to Fitbit, which was 7.17 km according to the route planner. An error of 15.48%! The same day, I did a run, which resulted in a distance discrepancy of 18.66%! For both routes, the GPS tracked my route to pinpoint accuracy, the time was correct. For my run, this resulted in a pace that was way off.
How can it be that Fitbit tracks the route correctly, but basically puts the KM-waypoints in the wrong place?
Please help, because I want to go back to tracking my training with the accuracy you've made me accustomed to!
Thanks,
Bram

PS, all data that was mentioned above was recorded using my Fitbit Charge 2, connected to a One Plus 7T.
