When backdating weight loss start date, getting error

New to Fitbit. I've been using Samsung Health for the last 5+ years. And seeing that fitbit steps do not sync into Samsung Health (not an approved device), im trying to move my data into fitbit.

I added manual logs of my biggest weights for each year over the last few. (After I got my scale to sync my current weight and I set a goal weight).

Now seeing that there are badges for weight loss i figured it would be cool to actually see those badges as I've lost that wight, just not while using fitbit.

I've read lots of posts here about how to do it via the app. I go to the Nutrition and Weight settings, I can update the start date, although it doesn't save it, and when I go to update the weight (to what I put in the manual log from 5 years ago) and it toasts up "Goal cannot be changed when offline".

But my device is on, im connect to the internet, I can sync etc.

Can I create a support ticket to get that info added? Or is there something else I can do outside the app to get the data to save properly?

Again this message only shows up when I change the weight value not the date. The date updates in the form but when I leave and come back its the current date.

Hi @Pankakes102   To the best of my knowledge, and I played around with this years ago, you can't track any weight loss before you had an account.  You can only track from when you opened your account.

So I just went in and changed the dates to all be within the last couple weeks (when I created my account) and upon trying to update the start date/weight to the logged weight from a few days after my account was created. Im still receiving the same error. Any other suggestions?

@Pankakes102   I don't have any other suggestions.  I don't use this feature right now.  I moved your post to the Android app forum, because your issue might be specific to the Android app.  I was able to do this some time ago on the iOS version.  But the two versions can be different for some features.  I hope an Android user can help you.
