When will the Huawei P9 lite be compatible with Fitbit charge 2

I just received a charge2 as a gift, so you can imagine my disappointment when I can't link it to my phone. I'm a runner and I wanted to use the fitbit charge 2 as a training device, again disappointment. I find it hard to believe after reading all the issues from customers about this, that nothing has been done, more disappointment.  I would think that as a Company disappointment is a feeling you don't want customers to have. I know this post will probably not make the slightest difference but I just don't want to be disappointed by fitbit anymore.

@FeatherZX21 Thanks for participating in our Fitbit Community! Regarding your inquiry, our engineers don't have a specific date when this model will be in our supported devices list. I really appreciate your feedback and comments about this. This info will be forwarded to our team since this helps us to keep improving our services and products so users can have a better experience.

If this model is not on the supported devices list, several features may function and others won't. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

Come on, you *must* provide a date. Huawei it's the second largest smart phone producer by market share. It recently overtook Apple. Not having a single Huawei smartphone supported and not giving any information is unacceptable.

@luca85 You are totally right about having a specific date. However, our developers and engineers are actively working to have more devices on the list. Me, as moderator, don't have dates or names of the models that are being added to the supported devices list.

I really appreciate your understanding and patience with this.

That's provenly false. You're not actively working on adding more devices to the list. You added only 2 devices in the Whole 2017!!!!! Most of the compatible models on the list are not on the market anymore. More than half of them have been released earlier than 2015!!!!!!!
