When will the LG G7 be supported? It is very disappointing.

Welcome to the Forums @cathm.

At this moment we do not have any news of when will the list be expanded to include the G7. Our team is aware of the need to expand the list and as soon as we have any news on the matter we will be sure to let everyone know.

Keep in mind that while the app can work as long as the phone meets the minimum requirements, Android 4.4+ and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that some issues will happen. Some users of phones not on that list have mentioned that going through these troubleshooting steps helped them, so it's definitely worth a try.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Still tired of using pen and paper to track the things I bought a Fitbit
for! So frustrated! I didn't spend my money on this to use it for a watch.

It won't be supported ever. FitBit is not working on making 'less popular' phones to sync with their products, they just write very annoying automatic replies to every request then nothing happens. Buy an iPhone or Samsung if you want to sync your data...

Instead of cookie cutter answers how about a solution. I have an LG G7 and its far from being unpopular. It's a great phone. I just bought a Fitbit, and I swear to God if it's not supported and working within the next 2 weeks, I WILL be returning the piece of garbage. Take that how you want. This is ridiculous that I pay over $200 for a plastic watch that doesn't work.

Are you able to get notifications on your Versa with your G7?  If so, how did you get it to work?  I have turned everything off, restarted both devices and then turned notifications back on.  Still not working.

I have found that LG devices don't work - I just use pen and paper to track
daily. Basically it's a watch for the most part!

I had no idea my G7 think you would not be compatible with Fitbit. Please add me to the list of people asking for that. I am so disappointed.

I just got this phone the other day and am noticing it doesn't sync properly. All I need to do, though, is to unpair the Ionic from my Bluetooth and re-pair, and it works. Stupid? Yes, absolutely and absurd to have a workaround with a $300 watch, but I digress. But it's a pretty quick fix.

Wait, I just found out the LG G7 is not on the list of compatible phones, this is ridiculous. It is not some generic one off company or brand, it is LG. I got my fitbit versa at launch and it worked great. Then a few months ago it stopped syncing. I didn't have time to mess around with it, so it sat on my counter. Now that I have time to reset and retry, nothing. The app won't connect with the device when setting it up and i've tried it all.

It wouldn't make me so angry if it never worked when I bought it, but for it to work for months and then to stop working is absolutely unprofessional from Fitbit. Please let me know of another way to make this work again since clearly Fitbit changed something in their software that is now preventing my phone from connecting! Or let me know how I can return it to you as clearly you guys are responsible for this now useless watch.

At this moment we do not have any ETA for when we can expect the LG G7 to be added to the list. Maybe you could support this suggestion to add it by voting for it or commenting on it. Be sure to read the FAQ if you have any questions on the way that board works.

In the meantime you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.

I know its a pain, but unpair your phone from ALL other devices, completely
clear of all associations, restart the phone, then attempt the pairing with
the fitbit. The LG phone has the ability to be pair with 2 devices at once
and the crap design of the fitbit throws a fit and refuses to share the
phone.
