Where can I find the "quick view" function in the application? It should be on this page, but it's not here.
It's there now. How is this possible? Is this like a fairy tale? Once upon a time? Evanescent.
Best AnswerGood catch. I think that just came up in recent app update. What it calls "Quick View" I think is the same thing as what was being called "Screen Wake", although it did used to be called "Quick View" on earlier models. But when you toggle it off in the app, that line just disappears. But it will come back if you go back to watch and turn Screen Wake on motion back on.
It looks to me like a programming bug in latest app update. I am working on getting that reported. For now I would just stick with doing that function from the watch.
Sometimes it’s not just "Quick View" that sometimes disappears, but the entire page.
Best AnswerToggling quick view on the watch only works if the watch can do that!! ( not being funny/having a go at you Johnny!!)
I am lucky to have both an Ionic as well as an older Charge 2. The Ionic can switch quickview on/off on the watch itself. But the older Charge2 can only switch via the phone app. Unfortunately it is that particular menu option which has disappeared.
Best AnswerI know this, so I didn't write it as a joke. I have a Fitbit Sense watch. And the disappearance of the whole page is no joke, it’s ridiculous.
Best AnswerI also sent the bug to Fitbit Support. Their response was quick: "Attention: Email support not available":( If they don’t deal with it there, I’ll expose it to Twitter as well.
Best AnswerFitbit answer: We're sorry to see this and we totally understand how you feel about this. We’ve checked this with our team and found out that this is an ongoing issue that the Fitbit team is currently working on a solution. Thanks for your patience while we work to get you back on track the soonest.
Yep. The Quick View option has disappeared on my Charge 2 too (version 3.36). Developers: please put it back! Thanks.
