I'm a former Surge owner and loved it until he band failed and later the unit failed $250 for two years of service? Was leaving Fitbit due to poor response to my issues but all competitors have bad reviews too. I just want a dependable tracker that will not cost me $125 per year. Any suggestions for a problem free Fitbit that will sync to my android phone?

Hello @JimmyV298.
Thanks for letting us know that you had a positive experience with your Surge and are considering Fitbit again.
It would depend on what you want to get from the device itself. I would recommend the Charge 3 as a good option for a activity tracker. There is also the Ionic or the Versa if you want a smartwatches. Feel free to share more details on what type of device you are looking for or to compare the different devices we have.
Let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with.

LanuzaFitbit,
Let me be crystal clear. I liked my surge while it worked. I was highly unsatisfied with the support Fitbit provided when the band failed. After installing the non-Fitbit band I found on Amazon the slide failed on my surge making it inoperable. I am highly unsatisfied that a $250 tracker failed after only two years, hence an annual cost of $125. This is unacceptable but given the bad reviews on all trackers including your competitors I have decided to stay with Fitbit because I am familiar with it.
I am looking for recommendations from current Fitbit users on this forum, not from a biased moderator.
My question for you is: Am I still eligible for the 25% discount I was offered in June on another Fitbit?
To all Fitbit users: is there a dependable Fitbit that has better support than the Surge. Activit tracker only-no smart watches.
