Why is the Fitbit app such buggy crap? Pixel Watch refuses to sync to Fitbit most of the time.

I swear I've never dealt with such a buggy app as this garbage Fitbit app. Everyday I have to force sync this trash Pixel Watch to the Fitbit app. It will just stop syncing and I have to force it by rebooting everything, on/off bluetooth, etc. I have to do this literally twice a day or else it won't sync and the app will be like last time synced was 2 hours ago. Very annoying. I thought this app would improve, but I am wrong. This app is still buggy asf since I had a Versa 2. Nothing but sync issues. I swear if I could return this trash Pixel watch(it has its own problems) I would.

Hi @SunsetRunner - it might not be the app that is the problem as you had it with 2 watches - have a look at phone settings and also make sure that the Fitbit App and associated services can run in background and is not being shutdown with battery savings - it is best that location and Bluetooth remain on..

If you have the Fitbit App on multiple devices shut the other ones down and see if things improve.

Oh it's the app. I did all of that the first time I installed the Fitbit app. I had the same underlining issues when I had the Versa 2. It just syncs and disconnects whenever it wants to. Like I said I have to reboot and do other stuff just to get the watch and the app to start syncing. I have to do this everyday. I am tech. savvy so all that basic troubleshooting I've already done. It just doesn't work most of the time. I thought I would give Fitbit another try, but nothing has changed. The app is still as buggy as it was a couple years ago. Might be even worse. The Pixel Watch has its own issues, but can't deal with it anymore. This will be the last anything I buy from Google as they seem to not care about fixing bugs or releasing quality hardware. I guess its back to iOS. smh

Just tried to sync again and now it says it is having issues and my watch is literally right next to my phone. This **ahem** is going back to Google. Fitbit app is still buggy asf. I would like to love this watch, but it won't even do the basic stuff. Just hot garbage.
