Why names dont show for text

When i receive a text it only shows new message, not their name.  And my phone is compatible.

@Riverboat in the Fitbit app, under the Fitbit tracker settings go to Notifications, select text messages, select your default messaging app. A little window will pop up and you have two choices, show sender and message or just sender.
