Has anyone been able to find a solution to the syncing/pairing problems with Fitbit and Android 11? My Charge 2 is not paired to my phone anymore and I cannot get it to pair now. My Fitbit will not sync and I'm not getting any exercise, heart, or sleep data on my app. I do not have a Mac product to use in the interim and I don't know how to fix this. I've also asked Android if there is a fix coming. I wanted to buy a new Fitbit but from other posts it seems this is for any Fitbit on Android 11. Is that true? Does anyone know if there is a solution to this? I don't have a Windows 10 app and again, no Mac products.

Hi @SunsetRunner
Which phone do you have and is it on the list of compatible devices? click to see
You try anything here on the article for trouble syncing? see if any of this helps - click to read
these devices pair with the email address, not with bluetooth, although it does use it.
it's not so much the phone as it is the system and the bluetooth version. Is your phone on the list of compatible devices? click to see
here is something a moderator posted about phones being compatible:
"Please note that your phone or tablet is not on our list of compatible devices. We confirmed that the devices on this list are fully compatible with all features of Fitbit devices and the Fitbit app. While a phone or tablet may not be verified as fully compatible, the Fitbit app may still work with your device.
We routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices and the Fitbit app, and are constantly working to confirm compatibility with new phone models. Be sure to verify that your phone or tablet meets the minimum operating system requirements.
If your phone supports Bluetooth 4.0, we provide assistance and troubleshooting steps. Because your phone or tablet is not fully compatible with Fitbit devices, we can't guarantee syncing and other Fitbit features. "

I have a Google Pixel 3a. It's not on your list of supported devices, but it's been working with the Fitbit app since I bought it in February. Until last Thursday, 10/1.

What do you mean by pairing, @SunsetRunner your tracker does not need to be paired to sync through an android phone.
Actually one step to fix a sync issue is to unpair the tracker from the phones bluetooth.
Have you checked the help sync guide .
If you recently uupdated the OS to 11 you may want to remove the Fitbit app, restart the phone, the install a fresh copy of the Fitbit app
Also try a shutdown if the phone.

Thank you for the reply. I never noticed it was unpaired from my phone until I started looking into possible fixes for this. I assumed it had been paired before so I tried again. It still won't work so it is not paired at this time. I've also uninstalled the Fitbit app on my phone and re-downloaded it from the Google Play store, as well as done a complete reboot of my phone. Nothing has worked so far 😞

I have a pixel3 and have this same issue. Has not synced since Android updated to 11. I've tried everything suggested and still doesn't sync. Unfortunately I don't have a pc/mac or tablet as backup either. Been waiting for a fix from either Android or Fitbit.

I also have had the same issue and unable to pair and it would be great if we got some actual help rather than the generic response I've seen on numerous posts across the forum. Can anyone help is out with this?

Hi all if you have another device such as a tablet or Ipad try installing the Fitbit app on it and connect your device. My charge 2 is now doing a background syncing .
This might get you through until they find a fix for the phone

I have a Pixel 3a XL and a charge 2 began having issues. I chatted with fitbit yesterday and they couldn't fix it so recommended I upgrade and gave me a discount toward a new one (but the older models). Anyway, last night I remembered I still have my old Motorola phone so I charged it up and it worked right away. It is 100% a phone issue.

Excellent, yea my tablet is updating the Fitbit network and then my phone gets the update.
It's not an ideal fix but works for now I guess.
Out of interest what did they offer in regards to discount on a device?

I have a Pixel 3a XL, and I'm having the same problems as you. I've had a Charge 2 since 2017, and it has always worked well. In the last 2 weeks, it seems to get unpaired or unable to sync. I'm getting no data other than steps, and the battery is draining quickly (probably from trying to pair unsuccessfully). I've tried workarounds suggested, with the app on Windows 10, but even that doesn't seem to retrieve all the data. I've been able to pair it after multiples trials, but it only syncs when it pleases. It's really awful, and people were reporting that FitBit apparently has no plans to fix this. If that's the case, it might be time for me to ditch FitBit.

I have the same phone and also had no issues with syncing until the Android update. I have added the Fitbit app to my laptop and I sync my Charge 2 there, although it's inconvenient. I was contemplating getting a Fitbit smartwatch although I think I'll have to ditch that idea and try a different brand instead.

I have no help for this thread but wanted to throw in that i have a pixel 3, note 10, and a pixel 1xl, allof them are on android 11 and none of them have the sync issue with my charge 2.
Eta oops I lied, the note 10 is on android 10 still my bad.

Yea the note 10 is probably syncing all of them so. Hopefully an update comes out soon for the pixel

Same problem.
Alta HR. Pixel 3 XL. Android 11.
No data sync, but the total of steps for the day is updating. So there must be a Bluetooth connection.
Cycling app, cycling tracker, toggling Bluetooth, reinstalling app. No sync.
So I installed the Windows 10 Fitbit app for the first time. Also won't sync.
Hopefully Google and Fitbit sort this out.
Meanwhile, I'm really enjoying the *it just works* simplicity of Wyze Band. Its app is nowhere near as fancy as the Fitbit app but for $30 this band is hard to beat.
Good luck everyone.
