Widget is missing Step Count

I just got a new Samsung S21, and the widget on the home page that normally shows the circle with the footprints in it and the step count underneath is not showing the step count.  The circle is still there, just no numbers.  Any ideas?

@Scrltotara Hi there. Thanks for the details mentioned.

Let's try the following:

- Remove the widget from the main screen
- Log out from the Fitbit app
- Restart your phone
- Log back in and add the widget

Hope this helps.

That didn't work. I also Uninstaller and reinstalled. Here is what it looks like.

If you transfer apps to a new phone using the Google transfer facility, some things don't seem to work right afterwards. This seems to be one of them. Remove the Fitbit app and reinstall it. Then -add the widget. I think you'll find the widget now shows the step count below the widget circle.

Another possibility, now the the count resides below the widget circle, and is very small,  is that your wallpaper is the same colour as the text and so it's hidden. Try changing to a darker wallpaper as a test.
