Widgets are not supported on Android 8+ for now - what is up with that?

This is very disappointing. It's been 2+ weeks now and I repeated see this dull grey circle telling me the Fitbit app can't keep up with Android advancements. When does Fitbit plan to get their App working again?

Not sure what you are describing here.

I'm running Android 8.1.0 on a Nexus 5X and I can place Fitbit widgets on my home screen and they update as expected.

My Fitbit app updated today and I'm getting the same message too. It was all working fine before.

Just to update, my widget has come back after updating the app today to 2.8.3

I noticed the same thing earlier this week.  Too long enough!  Glad to have it working again.
