Will my fitbit versa sync with P9 lite

Hi Guys, 

 

So Im wanting to buy the Versa but don't want to spend that amount of money if it won't sync with my phone, Huawei P9 lite. Please advise if it will work?                                                                                               Thanks

Some people seem to have no problems using a P9 Lite but many do. Fitbit say:

 

"Due to Bluetooth issues that prevent certain devices, like Fitbit devices, from syncing, our products aren't compatible with the following phones:

  • Huawei P8 Lite
  • Huawei P9 Lite
  • Huawei P20 Lite
  • Xiaomi Mi 6"

It would be a big gamble to get a versa if you don't have access to a backup device (computer or phone). The list of supported devices is at www.fitbit.com/devices
