Will not sync

I've had no issues with my device,however today it will not allow me to sync..saying device not found..I've reset phone and the fitbit..but still not finding device.

Mine stopped syncing today too. I am getting a message from my phone app that my Fitbit battery is low. I fully charged my battery but it isn't clearing the low battery message. I've even deleted and reinstalled the phone app and I am getting the same message. My computer cannot find the Tracker unit even when it is plugged in. The battery lights on my Fitbit is showing a full charge.

Mine has been having issues with syncing as well. I have restarted the app and phone. One time it worked after restarting the phone, other times it did not. It will choose random times to sync but has not been able to on command when I want to view my stats. It's getting ridiculous...

I researched how to reset my Fit bit and once I did that it started syncing again.

My phone is saying "your sync has been scheduled and will begin shortly".....it's been saying that for over an hour.

This may be a FitBit server issue

Hello everyone is great to have you all here! Woman Very HappyI'd appreciate if you first restart your trackers by following the steps provided at How do I restart my tracker?, after this please go to I can't sync my tracker and if that doesn't work I'd suggest you set up your tracker as a new device by following these instructions. Note that if you have not synced in over 24 hours, your activity data for previous days will be lost and only today's data will remain.

I'm sorry but nothing works as far as syncing the HR with my mobile cell.
Bluetooth is on and it shows that I can connect to the HR but when I ask to
sync, get the message that "unable to community with Charger HR". This
tells me that something is wrong with the HR and is a bad unit. The last
time it synced was on January 14, 2016 as show on the Fitbit Dashboard.

I am totally over the constant fiddling around my surge hr requires! It's first thing Sunday morning. I want to stay in bed, but need to be aware of sleeping an appropriate number of hours. Pretty sure I went to bed fairly early - but crap memory means I need to confirm. Yet again, can't sync, likely needs restart AGAIN - sorry but I'm over it. I'm pretty pinged off to have spent the $ & SO MANY HOURS farting around with such an unreliable device! Overall a major pain in the butt to live with, and performs incredibly poorly (eg constantly have to log an hour + before it shows me as going to sleep because it only then shows my complete sleep period. The 'floors climbed' is laughably inaccurate, as well as the step count!) Overall - waste of space to the degree that I'm actively looking for a replacement by a different brand!

I am having to reset my Surge every time I want to sync it now - VERY frustrating. Is there a fix for this?? Trying to sync with my Samsung S4 mini.

Sorry guys but at this time I'm returning the FitBit. I have even had my
husband go thru all the suggestions and steps trying to sync the unit to
Bluetooth unsuccessfully. The unit has never been wet or dropped so not
sure what might have gone wrong. AT this time I'm not sure I will be
getting another one.

I came across this same problem today and looked through all the forums and found the same thing over and over again with resetting it and uninstalling the app and so on, did this a few times and nothing but then I went into my battery settings and battery saver being on doesn't help it sync properly as it lacks performance so if you have any kind of battery saver on turn it off and hopefully it should work .. its worked for me so far and it's been about 2 hours with no problems now
