Won't sync automatically ever since new phone

I used to have my Blaze synced to my Samsung device and it would sync regularly throughout the day. I have since changed to a Huawei P20 and I have to go on and manually sync the device everytime which can take up to 5 minutes. I have made sure the Bluetooth connection to the old phone is revoked. How can I get my Fitbit to all day sync?

Welcome to the Forums @Hanko11.

Thanks for bringing this up and making sure that you have stopped the connection between the Samsung phone and your Blaze.

In this case, I'd like to ask if you are using a regular P20 or a specific version of that phone? If the latter, please let me know what specific version is it.

I look forward to your reply.

Hello @Hanko11.

I apologize for the delay in my response. Thanks for that quick confirmation.

In this case I'd like to recommend that you try setting up your Fitbit as if it was a replacement device. You can click here to find instructions on how to do it.  That should help so that the sync time improves.

Keep me posted on how it goes or if there is anything else I can help you with.
