Wont sync!

So ive been having issues with my charge HR. My fitbit originally synced with my phone (galaxy s3), but suddenly stopped. No matter what i did it wouldn't sync - the bluetooth couldnt even find my fitbit. This was in January. Since then I've got a new phone, and tried again since. At first the same issue occured, then just today my bluetooth picked up on the fitbit, but the fitbit is refusing it access.

Welcome to our Community @Yasi_! Thanks for stopping by! Robot winkI'd appreciate you restart your mobile device and restart your tracker. Also, make sure you have updated the Android app to the latest version and then follow the steps provided in this thread.

What I've observed over the last several months is that syncing on Android and my MacBook Pro requires everything to be rebooted about every time I need to sync. Frustrating but it really has been hit or miss on getting my Charge HR to sync. No problems with my iPad mini, ever.

It's nice to see you around more often @tastybrew! Thanks for stopping by! Robot HappyIs your Android App updated to the latest version? Also, is your Internet and Bluetooth connection working correctly? There are many factors that can affect the connectivity between your tracker and mobile device. You can try to follow the steps I provided in my previous post, that has work for some of the users that are experiencing the same issue.

Hope this helps, keep me posted! Smiley Happy

@MeylinP, no offense intended and I'm guessing you're coached/directed to use these "welcoming" statements, but please don't placate me with pointless/empty niceties.

Yes, and that's probably the problem. My Charge HR didn't have problems syncing several versions ago. Sadly, I don't remember at which version the syncing stopped functioning.

Yep, no problem with any other BT device I use: Bose speaker, three car radios, computers.

I've tried all of the troubleshooting recommendations. The only thing that seems to work is rebooting the Charge HR and my phone, and honestly that's questionable a lot of the time. I still can't get my MacBook Pro to sync, which was rock solid for 1.5+ years between my Force and the Charge HR.

Hey @tastybrew, thanks for the details provided! If you've tried all the recommendations that my friend @MeylinP has suggested without luck... I'd just make sure that your Android app is running the latest version already.

If the syncing issue is still happening, please get in touch with Customer Support so they can do a deeper investigation and see where the issue is coming from. Don't forget to mention all the steps you've done so far to avoid getting the same ones.

Have a great weekend!
