Workout doenst show map

Why doenst my app show a map of the route after a workout? I cant find anything in the settings, my friend has same settings and does show a map. Only difference is Samsung Galaxy S8.

Mine is Samsung galaxy S6 mini, Fitbit Charge 2.

Did you have your phone with you during your walk/run/hike/bike? 

Did the phone I cone on the Charge 2 show tyattthe GPS was connected? 

Is the GPS enabled for the event you recorded .

I'm assuming you recorded with an event other than the workout mode. since GPS is not an option for workouts.

Hi,
I had it with me, gps on, run mode on (no workout), phone connected with fitbit.
When I activated run mode, it said check app, but I cant find any issues. No updates to run etc.
When I open the activity in the app, I have 3 tabs. My friend has more tabs, including one with a map.
Any idea?

Let's stop here .The watch is telling you that it can not connect to the phone, this is the issue you cant find. 

Do you have notifications enabled? The GPS uses this path. 

Is the Blaze able to receive notifications? 

Then I would restart the phone. I usually get the GPS connected before the phone has completely booted up
