Your data syncs whenever you open your mobile device. Otherwise it’s about every 15 mins or so when your near your mobile device. You can manually sync your data by swiping the Today page downward when your logged into the Fitbit App.

I guess maybe I'm not understanding the challenge. When I sinc my fitbit to
update my steps, it is only showing a fraction of my steps? Thanks for your
help

Its mostly that the person who created the Workweek Hustle lives in a different time zone other then your own..So, the steps that are taken by you in “their time zone” only (their midnight to midnight) will be the only steps shown on the leaderboard. If your in a challenge that was created in your time zone then all the steps as you see them on your today page should be showing on the leaderboard.
