If it's not syncing with either device then it's likely to be an issue with the fitbit. I would try restarting it by:
Hopefully that will kick it back into life.

Restarting a fitbit is safe. Fitbit say:
"Restarting your device turns it off and on without deleting any activity data. If your device saves notifications, a restart deletes them."

Awesome help @SteveH! 🙂 Welcome to the Forums @ghlover and @Maryrothacker! Thanks for sharing your experience with your Zip tracker. As @SteveH kindly suggested sometimes turning off and on your tracker might do the trick. And this, if done correctly shouldn't delete your steps.
