If it's not syncing with either device then it's likely to be an issue with the fitbit. I would try restarting it by:

  1. Open the battery door using the battery door tool and remove the battery.
  2. Wait 10 seconds.
  3. Place the battery back into the tracker with the "+" side facing up, and close the door.

Hopefully that will kick it back into life.

If I reset my Fitbit will I lose the steps that haven’t synced yet?

Restarting a fitbit is safe. Fitbit say:

"Restarting your device turns it off and on without deleting any activity data. If your device saves notifications, a restart deletes them."

Awesome help @SteveH! 🙂 Welcome to the Forums @ghlover and @Maryrothacker! Thanks for sharing your experience with your Zip tracker. As @SteveH kindly suggested sometimes turning off and on your tracker might do the trick. And this, if done correctly  shouldn't delete your steps.
