battery not lasting

My charge is brand new and the battery has not lasted more than 12 hours since I got it. It's dead almost every morning after I wake up. This is very frustrating.

Hi there @catgirl65 and welcome to our community. I've noticed you re new here! I recommend the solution from this other community user that share with us for a similar case: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-HR/Battery-draining-in-less-than-a-day/m-p/1239939#M108766

Also you can review our help article:  How do I maximize my tracker's battery life?

Now if nothing of this has resolved the battery issue, please contact customer support. I'm sure they will be happy to investigate further.

See ya around and keep me posted how it goes.

Battery is good for maybe a year. Won't buy my third from this company. Only a unit that has a replaceable battery is the solution.

Hello, @Roofy! Welcome to the Forums! The battery should last longer than a year. I recommend you follow the wear and care instructions to take care of your tracker. Also, things like not charging your tracker for longer than 3 hours, cleaning the contacts and charging it using a computer and the original charger will keep the battery in good conditions.

Also, I think that your Idea is cool, do you mean a replaceable battery like the one the Zip has?

Please make sure to post this on the Feature Suggestions board. I found a similar idea, if you want to check it out.

See you around. Cat Very Happy
