biking mileage not working charge 2

Long time Charge 2 user.  Avid biker.  Outdoor biking function had work well up to two months ago.  The GPS still records route but mileage is not being recorded.  If mileage is recorded it is in hundreds of a mile.  All functionality that uses mileage is thus not working,  Tried reinstalling the app and clearing cache. No update for app or firmware is available.

I'd like to take a closer look at what is going on. Could you share some screen shots of what you see on the biking activities? Getting a visual on the situation should help me find out the best way to move forward.

In the meantime I'd like to ask, have you tried selecting a different type of activity when you go biking? Perhaps selecting run and seeing if the distance is tracked properly or not. If not, please give it a shot.

Here is the info you requested.  

I did the same 8 mile route on bike and run modes. Neither come close to the correct route.  I have had the Charge 2 for a year and a half...recent problem.
