blaze connecting to phone android app

My blaze in not finding phone for exercising/run.  Currently using lg g4 which I not on the approved phone.

 

To troubleshoot or even find a work around I have an old Samsung s3 no longer on the Verizon network.

 

Can I use wireless, download the app, and connect to that phone?

Hello @beaslbob! Thanks for joining the Community.

 

Since the LG G4 is not a supported devices, we cannot guarantee that it will work correctly because the app is not fully optimized to work with the Fitbit.

 

Like you mentioned, you could use the S3 as long as it can connect connect to a GPS signal, if you're looking to track GPS information. If you're only looking to sync, connecting the S3 to a Wi-Fi network would do the job.
