I went on a walk this weekend, and while on my walk, i'm listening to pandora radio app and using the fitbit tracker. I stopped at a store and tried pausing the app, wouldn't pause. I continued my walk and when it announced that i reached my 4 mile mark, it paused. Didn't realize until about a mile later. Tried to resume recording and it wouldn't unpause. So i figured I would just finish the recording and chaulk it up to what it was, time and effort not recorded. BUT the app force closed. tried opening the app to start recording rest of walk and theres no indication that i could report this. AND it didn't have ANY of my 4.75 miles recorded! ughhhhhhh!!!!!!!! so frustrating!
side note: i'm using an android platform.

@momof4247 Welcome to our Community! This can be caused by a battery saving app or feature on your phone (Huawei phones come with this option) and what they do is try closing any app that may be using the battery. If this is the case please add an exception for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings. If this isn't the case then make sure you have the app up to date. Also which phone are you using (brand, series and os version)?
Also you can manually add your walking activity by following @GisselleM instructions.
Let me know how it goes!
