kg to lb

Good morning, so I have a question.  I woke up this morning and for some reason my fitbit switched from lb to kg.  So to my surprise I really doubled my weight over night, lol, just kidding.  So I went on to my computer to switch it back to lbs, but now my android is not picking up the change?  I've gotten out of the app twice and went back in, but it still won't change over, any suggestions?

Yesterday morning I opened the app to log my weight (Galaxy Note 4) and it showed my weight in kilograms. I changed my settings via the fitbit website and the app showed my weight in pounds, like it always has, almost immediately. Today I woke up and it shows body weight in kilograms again and now when I have changed the settings via the website the app doesn't change. I have restarted the app and my phone after making the change. As far as I can tell from searching and reading online you can't change the unit settings directly in the app.

Hello @ccagle68, welcome aboard to the Fitbit, certainly this is an odd behavior from the app. However you can change your units directly from the app. It is possible that your app is maintain the configuration reason why is returning to Kg.

1. Go to your account tab in the right upper corner. 
2. Scroll down to the Advanced Settings 
3. Access to Units to change your Length, Weight, Water and swim units.
4. Look for your weight and change it to pounds

my charge 3 is in Kg where do I go to change it to lbs? I cant find the menue.

@Bela not sure if you can do this on the Charge 3 or not but if you don't find out how then you can make the change in your profile settings at https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile 

Once changed and saved the next time you sync your fitbit will be updated

Trying to use fitibit as a weight tracker, but the apps keep switching from lb to kg. I set it back every few days, but doesnt seem the stay set.

Is this thing serious or just an expensive toy?

Hello @goldsm are you referring to an app on the ionic, or the Fitbit app on your phone or at Fitbit.com/weight.

If on the phone, may I ask which phone?

Have you tried @RobertoME suggestion above, after seeing the unit type, please sync the tracker through the Fitbit app.
