new versa won't sync on android on hotspot

i just unpacked my brand new versa.. but it wont sync.. how do i do that with a dumb android ? Smiley Sad ive tried connecting to my own hotspot but its like it instantly disconnects... and the only wifi i have got is useless cuz its web authetication... i need help

@klaraum Welcome! It's nice to have you on board! Sorry to hear that your Versa isn't connecting to your hotspot. Not sure how this connection is configured. I suggest you start by syncing using mobile data on your phone, try updating your Versa this way and then try a wi-fi connection. You could also restart your Versa and if the issue persist try a Factory reset but remember that you will need to setup the device after this.
