notifications service not running fitbit alta hr

I don't get message and phone call notifications on my fitbit tracker.

I tried with all possible options i.e. doing all appropriate settings (on phone and tracker too) rebooting phone. Still same issue persist. 

I m using Mi max mobile ( Android 11.0.2) and Fitbit Alta HR (Fitbit App verion 3.8) 

Please let me know if any solution for this issue.

Here is something from a moderator who posted about phones and compatibility:

We confirmed that the devices on this list are fully compatible with all features of Fitbit devices and the Fitbit app. While a phone or tablet may not be verified as fully compatible, the Fitbit app may still work with your device. 

We routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices and the Fitbit app, and are constantly working to confirm compatibility with new phone models. Be sure to verify that your phone or tablet meets the minimum operating system requirements.

If your phone supports Bluetooth 4.0, we provide assistance and troubleshooting steps. Because your phone or tablet is not fully compatible with Fitbit devices, we can't guarantee syncing and other Fitbit features. "

I have a Samsung S4 and while it doesn't work entirely, it does function a bit. I use a S8 daily and the S4 is my back up phone.
