I'm on the current release of the app (3.2) and I've noticed that a fitbit notification is on always, saying "Connected GPS is running". It's also using a ton of battery, it's consistently on my top applications for battery usage and says it was active for the entire time my phone has been unplugged.
I've reset my Charge 3 twice, I uninstalled the FitBit App, I toggled location permission and restarted the phone.
Any other advice?

Anyone else seeing this or have any suggestions on how to handle this? I took the app off my phone for the weekend and the battery went back to normal and in fact my other GPS services started working much better as well.

I'm seeing the same issue. "Connected GPS is running" is always being displayed even when the device is unpaired.
If I tap the notification it brings me to the "Linking with Fitbit app required for connectivity features" page but if I open the app directly the device is linked and receiving telemetry. The page the has a loading circle that simply disappears after a moment. Tapping the X the okay button or the back button in the app simply close the app window and bring me back to my pixel home screen.
I've reset the charge three and reinstalled the app and it has the same issue.
Toggling the location permission temporarily fixes it but the next time I go for a run it triggers again.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one that is having the issue, but I've given up hope on getting assistance from FitBit. I just haven't used the feature since I posted this. Unfortunate and disappointing.

I am having the same issue with my Charge 5.
