Fitbit Update 04/19/2018: Hi everyone - Thanks so much for patiently waiting while we released a fix. I'm happy to report we started rolling out Fitbit for Android version 2.70 yesterday, on 4/18. Each new app version is slowly released, so if you don't see it available in the Google Play store yet, it will be there shortly. This app version contains the fix, so please update!
If you continue to see the "Do not Disturb" error message after updating, please let me know. I would like to receive confirmation from you all that this app version really did fix it.
Thanks for all your help!

Okay, so now the fix is that I'm told my phone is on silent I wont get notifications? I have been using a fitbit with my phone on silent for at least 4 years. Please correct this new issue.

Put me in the camp of "Do Not Distrub" issues. Coming from Android Wear - the Fitbit Versa is kind of a disappointment. I can't even get notifications to work properly.
Any timelines on a fix? I only have so many days to be able to return the Versa.

DANTonioH, What phone are you using? A couple of us have turned our Samsungs to vibrate with the intensity at zero. That is helping for now. Also, go under app notifications in your phone. Find Fitbit and set it as a priority or to override DND. The newest problem is if your phone is on silent. The vibrate with zero intensity is the temporary fix for that.

Unfortunately the update did not fix this. Now instead of saying my phone is in DND, it says that my phone will not recieve notifications because it is on silent. It should not matter if my phone is on silent. Please fix this issue!

This might have fixed the DnD issue but has cause another one with it effecting Silent mode which IMO is worse.

Indeed, now it does not detect DnD but the app won't send notifications while the phone is in silent mode. There should be an option to enable tracker notifications when the phone is in silent mode....

Omg yes! Apparently I also climbed one floor and did 288 steps even though my fitbit is in the car because I'm returning it.

Exactly, if it isn't fixed I'm not getting another Fitbit because I really liked how it was before.

@Roseytoes9 @MSamente @csimarro Thanks for confirming the DND error notification has been resolved. Instead, it sounds like we're dealing with another new issue with Silent mode.
I have floated a new thread to keep track of this in this new post. Please follow and subscribe so you can receive updates there.
I'm going to close this thread as resolved. Please follow along here.
Thanks everyone!

I was just told to put my phone on vibrate. Kinda defeats the purpose of silent...
