"Fitbit Keeps Crashing" error on Razer Phone

Good afternoon, all,

My Fitbit app is the only app on my phone that both runs extremely slowly / is almost completely unresponsive, and crashes constantly.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app a couple of times, and have the phone completely up to date.

Are any other Razer Phone users experiencing these issues?  Any thoughts on how to correct them?

Thank you!

Hello @Thelon, awesome to see you have join the Fitbit Community! In this case the Razer phone is not compatible with the Fitbit app. This means that we have not tested it for compatibility and added it to the list yet, so it could be one of the reasons the app is running slow in your phone.

The primary to review despite the fact of compatibility, is to make sure the Fitbit app is running in the latest version. Razer uses an Android OS, so in this case the latest version released is 2.66 to the date of this post, but note that new versions are constantly released whatsoever.

Something additional to try here is to reset your app. Log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.

Hope this helps and let me know how it goes.

Thank you for your prompt reply, @RobertoME!  I do have the app updated to 2.66.  I cleared the cache and force stopped.  I also took a moment to move the app from my SD card to internal storage.  It is now working, for the first time ever!

Thank you for taking a moment to help me out, even on an unsupported device.  I really appreciate it!
