samsung J3 2017 not receiving notification alerts

Hi all,

I used to have a Samsung A5 that worked perfectly with notification on calls and whatsup displaying correctly. I changed phone to a Samsung J3 and have the same exact set up but I do not get notification thorough the phone for incoming calls nor whatsup. I have enabled everything and also restarted my Charge 2, no luck :O(

Any idea on how to get the notifications to come through again ?

Thanks for sharing what you have already tried.

This might be happening because the J3 is not currently a part of our Supported Devices list. This means that we cannot guarantee that the Fitbit devices will sync properly with it, or other devices not on the list.

It is possible that they work if they fulfill the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, but it is not a certainty that we can assure. Some users of unsupported devices have found different workaround, or that following these steps, have worked for them so I'd say it is definitely worth a shot.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
