v2.59 for Android doesn't sync Fitbit Alta HR with Galaxy Note 8

FYI.  Note 8 users might want to go back to 2.58.  Ever since the udpate my Alta hasn't been able to sync up with my Note 8.  Syncs fine on an older version on my Nexus 6p and Nexus 6 tab so I know it's not a Fitbit device issue.  Tried all sorts of tricks with 2.59 like unpairing/pairing, clearing cache, uninstalling/reinstalling to no avail.

 

So, you might want to grab 2.58 off apkmirror.com and then turn OFF auto-update in the Google Play Store for the Fitbit app.

 

Now with 2.58, syncing works like a champ again.  Will try v2.60 when it comes out and see if that plays nicer.

I download 2.5.8 but it still can not push notification.
