Adding a 2nd user to Aria 2

I have had the Aria 2 for several years and it has worked fine for my wife and I to log our weights. Recently we replaced our wifi network and had to set up the device again. I have connected and the scales update my weight to my account. I have tried to invite my wife through the app and it sends her an email to accept the invite. When she clicks on the link to accept the invite we get directed to a page “sorry, that page is following a different trail”

 

She does have a Fitbit account

i have reset the scales and started the process from of setting my phone up and inviting her again to get the same result

i have reset the scales set my wife up on the scales and tried to invite myself and received the same message

 

any help would be appreciated.

Did you try inviting her from your dashboard on the website?

Hi Steve, I posted in a couple of other threads, but will reply here too. I had the same issue and was told to accept the invite through a computer email instead of from the phone (even if your Fitbit app is on her phone rather than the computer, still use the computer to accept the invite)
