Aria 2 Not Connecting App / Wifi

Last sync was May 24. 2019. Aria 2 will not connect to Fitbit App.  I removed batteries waiting several minutes (for 2 days now) following steps to try and connect. Nothing happens.  On 2 occasions I received a message "no Wifi" (something like that. I missed the 1st words but saw wifi). We do not have new router. We did not change anything

Attached are screenshots showing when my App last synced to the scale on May 24 and the App update done on May 22. It appears the App update done may have "broken" the Aria 2 connection to Wifi and the App. I only discovered the problem when I weighed myself after (I don't weigh every day but choose weekly).

@Klisa1214, I was having the same issue myself today. The email advice from tech support did not work - flipped it over, removed the batteries, held the button down for 10 seconds. I even restarted my WiFi and also tried connecting from my laptop using the Fitbit-provided software, but no luck. I could get readings, but the scale simply wouldn’t give me the setup prompt.

 

So here’s what I did differently that worked. I did NOT flip over the scale. Instead, I held up the scale with my hands, removed the battery cover with one hand while still holding up the scale with the other hand and the screen facing up, pressed the button by the batteries, and put the battery cover back on.

 
I then was able to get the setup prompt on the display. From there, I was able to connect.
 
Try that and see if it helps.

Michael1400, your steps worked! I did not turn scale over at all while doing these steps. I removed battery cover then pressed button holding about 10 seconds. Nothing appeared to happen so I then removed the batteries and put them back in place pressing the button again. The www.fitbitsetup message scrolled across the scale screen so I then pressed the button 10 seconds once again. I opened the App and went to the Aria 2 setup following the prompts and WAAA-LAA!! I FINALLY SYNCED!!

So the resolution is >>> do not turn the scale over/upside down then re-do setup. THANK YOU For the help!
