Aria 2 does not transmit SSID

I just changed my router and want to connect my Aria 2 scale to the new network setup.

 

Following the instructions, I removed the battery, waited  seconds, and then went trough my Android app to connect to the scale. I receive an error "An error has occurred, please try again later." This happened multiple times.

 

Next, I tried web setup, only to discover that the scale doesn't send out an AriaXXXX SSID to connect to.

 

Any insights?
