Aria 2 network connection problems

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I don't know if I should start my own thread or append to one of the several existing ones illustrating just HOW MANY, MANY Aria scale users are experiencing this problem, but to reduce the scrolling I'm starting one.

Add me to the growing list (probably growing at the same rate as your sales) of people with an Aria scale that won't stay connected to my WiFi.  When I first got it in mid January, I couldn't get it to pair at all, even within 10 feet of the router. Then it suddenly started working, and continued to do so for maybe a month. But now it won't work at all again, and even after a device reset (which allowed it to get further than it had before), it's still stuck attempting to connect to my network, after at least 15 minutes.

Clearly and obviously, your product is defective.  I either want you to fix your software, replace my scale with one that works, or refund my money.  This is my fourth FitBit device, and the third that has been a miserable failure at its basic functionality.  If you can't fix this in the next month, it will be the LAST fitbit device I EVER buy, and I'll be certain to pass my experiences with you on to every person I know.

When did it stop working? Mine stopped today, hoping the server is just down.

@Sesummers @RoboProd It's great to see you guys in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria 2 are experiencing connection issues even after restarting the scale. I know how frustrating this is for you.

I'd like you to try the following workaround: Please restart your routers in order to refresh your networks. Once you've done this, set up your scales from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed.

As a side note, let me know if your scales are displaying any error message when they try to sync your data.

Looking forward to your responses! Smiley Happy
