The sensor in my Aria 2 appears to be broken. I’ve removed the batteries and now replaced them and I’m still having issues. When I turn on the scale, I’m instructed to ‘step on’ but then the scale remains in the ‘sensing’ mode without ever determining my weight. Has anyone had the same issue? If so, were you able to rectify it? This scale was so expensive and I’ve taken excellent care of it. I’m so disappointed in FitBit. It’s disgusting to think of how many of these scales will end up landfills after 1-2 years of use.

@RebJMC Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Aria 2 since it it just stays in "Sensing" mode. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to try the following workaround that has been helpful: Weigh yourself 5 times in a row in order to re-calibrate your scale. Also, make sure that you are standing on the Aria 2 barefoot and still.
Keep me posted on the outcome!

I’ve used alcohol to “clean” the terminals…doesn’t work. After reviewing all the negative comments I would think FitBit would want to clean up their reputation but obviously, I’m wrong.
