Aria setup issues

I've just wasted 2 hours on my 12th attempt to reset my original Aria scale. First, I wasted several hours each on trying to connect my scale to a new WiFi network. I gave up on attempt number 5 and just used it as a standard scale. Then the battery died and I didn't bother to replace it, but my husband and I were both trying to track weight and BMI for a new fitness effort so I reloaded the batteries and tried to reset the scale again. I read all the suggestions on the topic in the forums. I watched all the YouTube videos on resetting and setting up the Aria. I tried every solution (including sticking a pin into the hole in the back of the scale). And still, the scale won't connect to my software even when I can connect to it in my WiFi on both my phone and my desktop computer. The Fitbit interface is terrible on the app and the website. I've gone through 3 Fitbits because the strap died on my original that couldn't replace the straps, the second because it just died, and my third is on its second strap in less than a year. The scale has been a pain trying to sync since day 1.  I've tried contacting Fitbit but they don't have any way to actually be contacted because they don't care about their customers and the user experience. So as much as I love my stats (especially the sleep stats), this is my last Fitbit product. I can pick up an accurate scale for a lot less money and wasted time.

I 100% agree with you. This is a terrible product and the Fitbit Tech support offered no solution. I done everything they suggested to no avail. The only solution is to throw this scale away and buy a new one. But I can guarantee you, I WILL NOT BE PURCHASING ANOTHER FITBIT DEVICE.

Ditto the exact same experience. Hours of frustration. Don’t know where to turn.

Totally agree!!!!! I just had the same experience. Batteries are out of the scale. Amazon has a RENPHO on the way...If Fitbit wants to charge a HUGE dollar for a product that can't simply connect then forget it.  One needs to wonder how accurate their technology is in other areas.  Goodbye Fitbit.  Peace out!
