Aria 2 will not enter set up mode

I have tried everything! But when I put the batteries back in - it NEVER goes to “set up active” - how do I get the scale to display “set up active” so I can try and connect to the scale?

Hi @Gn17. Welcome on board. It's good that the community is growing!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for the steps that you've tried. I believe you're following the setup process for the regular Aria which will show the "setup active" message on its display. The setup process for the Aria 2 is a little different, so please try the following steps:

  1. Place the scale on a hard-flat surface within 10 feet from the router.
  2. Open the Fitbit app, tap on Account icon > setup a device > Aria 2.
  3. Accept the terms and when asked, press the button within the battery compartment to put the Aria 2 in setup mode. You should see www.fitbit.com/setup on it’s display.
  4. When prompted, enter the 4-digit code in the Fitbit app.
  5. Next is Wi-fi setup. Select your network and enter password.

  6.  Wifi symbol will be shown on the scale’s display, and once it's connected you'll see a check mark.
  7. Select an icon that will show every time you finish your weigh-in.
  8. Follow the onscreen instructions and you'll be all set.
