Aria Air completely inaccurate

Hi all. So I hadn’t used my Aria Air in a while, finally decided to step on it and it read what I last weighed in at the doctors. Fine. I’ve been trying to lose weight so I’ve been weighing myself pretty regularly. At first the weight loss seemed ok because I just started phentermine. I went from 226 to 222. Then, it showed 216 a week later. Seems like a lot. The next day (yesterday) I decided to test the scale. I stepped on and it said 207. I’m like, no way. I step off and step back on, lo and behold, it says I’m 226! So I break out my regular scale and that also reads 226. I hop back on my Aira Air again and now it reads 222. The thing isn’t right. Something is totally off with it, and 19 pounds isn’t exactly a small variance. So frustrating.

Hello @Vlawson18

I would agree that your scale numbers are all over the place. With that said is your scale being used on a flat surface? You can get wild numbers like your describing if you use the scale on something like a carpet or area rug. Also if you store it somewhere else (like in your closet) and pull it out to use it…wait a few moments before weighing yourself if you just moved it to give the scale time to regulate itself.

I'm having a similar issue. The number the scale reports will vary about 4 to 8 pounds, even when taking measurements minutes apart. I'll take out an old $20 scale just to see if the numbers are somewhat close. And it's not even like it reads one number, then another one "sets in." If I weigh myself 5 times, I get 5 different weights. It's pretty frustrating not being able to trust this thing when it definitely wasn't cheap.

For the marketing and the price tag it's not any better than a drug store scale. Would also be nice if the sync feature worked reliably too.

Hello @LoyalPanda

Have you tried removing the batteries, wait 8-10 seconds then place the batteries back in? (Wait about 2 mins before weighing yourself to allow the scale to recalibrate after placing the batteries back in)

I am having the same issue after not using it for    several months. It will give me a different weight after stepping on it 5-10 times over 2 or 3 minutes.  It is on a hard, flat surface and I’ve even tried changing the batteries.  Guess I go back to using the old-fashioned scale.

Same problem here. I have a tile floor. (virtually dead flat and level.) If I move the scale a foot in any direction my weight can fluctuate 8-10 lbs. Really disappointed in this product.

Same thing here too.  Will not purchase another one.  Using a manual scale.  I am not blaming the support.  I blame the company for making crappy products. The scale was not cheap.
