Aria Air won't enter setup mode

Have tried everything.  Taken batteries out, re-inserted, reset the scale  - still no joy.

Followed Set up a Device from the app (Galaxy A72).  It just doesn't find the scale.

Thanks for the details provided, as well as the steps tried on your own. It seems you're following the setup process for the regular Aria which can be placed in the setup mode. However, the Aria Air setup process is a little different. Because you have an Android phone, please give a try to the following steps to get your scale connected to your account:

 

  1. On your Samsung Galaxy A72, tap Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  2. Go back one screen, tap Force stop and reboot your phone.
  3. Take other Bluetooth devices to another room so they won't interfere with the process.
  4. Place the scale nearby your phone and make sure the Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
  5. Then, open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  6. Select your Aria Air and follow the on-screen instructions.
