Aria Scale syncing but App isn't updated immediately

I can see that my original Aria Scale is syncing... Shows in the Devices list when the last sync took place and it was a few minutes ago.  But the Fitbit app is not showing the most recent data for weight.  Up until a few days ago the measured weight would show up on the Fitbit app almost immediately after the Aria synced.  Now it's taking some amount of time to show up, regardless of refreshing or relaunching the Fitbit app.  Something has happened on the backend to delay the new Aria reading showing in the app.

Same issue for me 😢I assume google or Fitbit are going to fix it or is this the new normal?

Have the same exact issue, it's very frustrating. I have noticed a slight workaround, although very inconvenient. Is to tap on your apps and your Fitbit for Aria scale and then tap on the line that says recent weigh-ins and you will actually see it. I don't like that and I like it better when it's on the main screen of the app with all my other stats but at least I know it's logging and I can still follow.

Thank you,

Hi everyone!

Thank you for reporting this. Our team is already aware of the situation and I will let you know if there's any update.

When will this be fixed?  This is very frustrating.  Updates should NOT be issued unless fully tested.. We pay MONTHLY fees for the App and therefore rightfully expect a fully functional app.. Shame on Google for NOT doing a better job.

Same issue here. For about a week or two now.

I am seeing the same issue.  Using Pixel 9. I can see that the scale is syncing and the app is too

I have the same problem the last week or so.  The Fitbit app shows it has synced but the app doesn't show the up to date weight until hours later.

To all: the problem is not related to your individual devices and applications:
the data is properly pushed on Fitbit servers (you can quickly find it back when clicking on the Aria device and look at the last measure).

The problem is related to the further transfer of that device measure to the actual user profile.
It would be good to know if this is a "technical glitch" or a new "software design choice" of Google engineers.
But indeed it ruines the experience of the Aria users.

Best,

Ph.

Same here since end of October.

There is also an issue with Fitbit not syncing data to TrainingPeaks app integration.

Happening to me too, since around the time it was first reported. It is very annoying.

I downloaded the data from Google to see the day's data, but Google takes a full day to send you the data, so that was pointless

Same issue here. Pixel 6 pro.

I’ve just realised this issue began right around the daylight saving time change on 26th October. It seems Google’s programming isn’t quite as flawless as they’d like us to believe, and to make matters worse, they’re taking an awful amount of time to fix it. Interestingly, several major banks also put their apps into maintenance mode for a few hours at the same time, perhaps because they, too, struggled to handle the transition properly.

So, first FITBIT delivered a crappy charger for my Sense (one of the pins would not connect). They solved that on the third try (for now). Now this scale issue which is clearly backend because the data show up for the device, just not on the dashboard. This was raised by michae1a1ee on October 26th, 2025. Then it took the moderator until November 4th, 2025 to acknowledge this. Today is November 9th, 2025 and there is still no solution.

I would like to remind Google/Fitbit that changing to the Apple ecosystem is one step away from me.

Same boat here! And it seems no fix from them (as usual).

I've been with Fitbit for many years, and we have these issues where they take so long to fix. Then Google came alone and bought Fitbit, I thought that will bring better programming skills but I was wrong, they screw more often and take so long to fix things. I have considered leaving Fitbit so many times but then I would need to buy another watch and another scale, which all together would be around £400 minimum. I just wish that customer satisfaction was in a higher position at Fitbit Google.

I've been looking for alternatives and I landed on a Reddit page that I find alarming and seems like they are discontinuing the scale, but the post is from 2023 https://www.reddit.com/r/fitbit/comments/13uxb7a/fitbit_has_disabled_wifi_sync_with_the_original/

I think the day of moving to a different app is closer than what I thought.
