My Aria suddenly seems to be eating through batteries. I have had to change them very frequently over the last six months and at the most recent battery change (two weeks ago) they Aria now won’t sync and a message came up today saying the batteries were dead. How is that possible?? I have read through the other comments related to this and it seems to be a fairly common issue... Fitbit do you have any advice?

Same problem. Batteries lasted about 30 hours.

Ditto. About two months ago I started noticing the same issue on my Aria version 1. New batteries last about two weeks max. Must have been some change that happened in a software update that is waking up the device and draining the batteries. Hope they update it. Otherwise this scale just became useless.

Recommend that you call Fitbit and explain your situation. Phone number is on their website.
They are sending me a new scale. Haven't received it yet but expect it any day.
Good luck.

Hi, I have the same problem two weeks of battery life max. Now I'm taking the batteries out after every measurement what is ridiculous but so far the only solution.
