I have had my Aria for 18 months or so. Almost a year ago it stopped being able to connect via wifi. I tried a million things and nothing worked. So I gave up. But at least I could weigh myself every day and log the results manually. THe batteries finally got too low and so I changed them .Now I cannot set up anything. It wants to me to go through set up, but of course that puppy stopped working long ago. SO now I have no scale at all. Does anyone have a solution to just get the **ahem** thing working like a scale that has fresh batteries added. I love that FIt BIt had a great IPO recently and all the lovely thank you notes from the leadership. Maybe they can use the investor dollars to actually update unreliable software and hire more people on the customer services desk to help frustrated users.

Thank you for joining the Forums @PatBunFox62! That is strange. Are you still experiencing the same issue? Are you getting an error message when you try the setup process?

Hello there @SBFAU and @2pupswalker! You need to check if there was a change on your network. Try to restart your Aria once again. If that doesn't work don't hesitate to contact Support.
Best AnswerLooking at these posts, it confirms what my frustration senses--the Aria scale is a bad product. After battery change I cannot get any thing from scale (2 years old?). On my account it shows full batteries, but scale itself won't sense anything, appears to be dead. I did reset, several times. Just before I changed batteries I had short episode of not sensing, but reset fixed. I am coming to conclusion that it is unfixable, and I am better off going back to plain old scales and entering weight manually. Does anything in your experience contradict that conclusion?

Welcome to our Community @seeingsystems and @2pupswalker! If you have tried, I'd like to recommend setting up you Aria scale as a new device again. You only need to follow @SilviaFitbit's post. If that doesn't help, feel free to contact Support, they'll be happy to provide you the assistance you need.
Keep me posted!
I just tried changing batteries in the aria scale and it is dead. Nothing. I finally see someone is having the same problem. This is ridiculous. I've tried two new sets of batteries. Now I don't have a scale after paying large for one that was suppose to work.
I just changed the batteries in mine and it's dead. There's nothing there. So much for advanced technology. I'm readet to switch trackers as well, a company making such an expensive, clearly defective product doesn't reallly need my business
